| Gary Florence has over thirty years of professional experience in the Geospatial profession. He earned a Bachelor Degree from the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay and a Masters degree from the International Institute for Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) the Netherlands. Gary moved to Florida in 1984 and began working for the Southwest Florida Water Management District. He later joined Greenhorne & O’Mara as the Division Manager of their Geographic Sciences Division. In 2004 Gary joined Photo Science to manage their office in St. Petersburg, FL and was promoted to Vice President in 2009. He served as President of the ASPRS Florida Region (2000-2001) and later served as President of ASPRS at the national level (2011-2012). Gary is currently the ASPRS Delegate to the Coalition of Geospatial Organizations (COGO). He is an ASPRS Certified Photogrammetrist (CP), a Florida licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) and licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) in three other states. |
