| Henry Hochmair has joined the Geomatics Program in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation at the University of Florida as a faculty member in 2008. He teaches courses in GIS, adjustment computations, and photogrammetry, and is an advocate of distance education. He was involved in establishing UF’s online Master’s degree program in Geomatics and a online graduate certificate in geospatial analysis. His research specialty lies in spatio-temporal analysis of geodata using GIS, which can be applied to a variety of disciplines, including transportation, geodata quality assessment, and ecology. Henry was the recipient of the Professional Award from the Florida region of the ASPRS in 2011. | |
