As a Certified Photogrammetrist, Mr. Deslauriers is well-versed in national mapping policies and guidance standards. He has a diverse background in imagery analysis (traditional/digital aerial and satellite imagery), photogrammetry, aerotriangulation, and remote sensing for federal, state, local, and utility clients. He is knowledgeable in the use of Microstation, ArcGIS, Socet Set, and SoftPlotter softcopy feature extraction systems. Mr. Deslauriers began his career working on-site at the Maryland State Highway Administration performing asphalt analysis. While there, he became familiarized with quality assurance, reporting, and guidance procedures. Since joining Photo Science in 2005, Mr. Deslauriers has worked on some of Photo Science’s most prominent photogrammetry and remote sensing programs. While at Photo Science, he has performed a variety of roles: performing feature extraction and classification, assisting with quality control/assurance and program compliance, and creating a comprehensive feature guidance document for one of Photo Science’s foremost federal contracts. He is an active member of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS). | |
