| My experience in the Geographical Information System (GIS) industry spans over 25 years, and includes a technical foundation, as well as 16 years as a full life-cycle program manager. My management and technical abilities are affirmed by two certifications; Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Photogrammetrist (CP). I hold a Bachelors of Science in Geology. I have exceptional skills and experience in all aspects of GIS and photogrammetric mapping, including planimetric and topographic mapping, LiDAR, Landuse, Satellite imagery, mobile mapping, digital orthoimagery, landcover, cadastral, thematic mapping and digital camera technology. I am a published author and I’ve managed and implemented multiple large, diverse mapping and GIS programs. I successfully managed seven Statewide projects for The Sanborn Map Company (CT, DE, KS, MA, ND, VA, WY). Another highlight program for Sanborn was managing the mapping of the five (5) Boroughs of NYC for over 10 years. The program is ongoing and I remain involved with the current LiDAR mapping for rooftop evaluation for Solar panel placement. I worked for Microsoft managing a 1m satellite program and mobile mapping for their ‘Virtual Earth’ website. I’m currently providing customer service for Sanborn, to our State and local government customers in the Florida region. |
