Keith Patterson is a Senior Project Manager at Dewberry in Tampa, Florida and is a Florida licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper and a licensed Surveyor Photogrammetrist in Virginia. He has over 30 years of experience in photogrammetry, remote sensing and GIS with an emphasis on aerial imagery interpretation, feature extraction, LiDAR, and natural resource mapping. He has served in both executive and program management positions and continues to serve as the technical lead for mapping, photogrammetry, LiDAR, and GIS projects. His experience includes project design, photo interpretation, change detection, environmental field reconnaissance, accuracy assessment, LiDAR processing, and GIS data processing. Keith has served as a program manager for several large federal mapping projects including the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s National Wetland Inventory, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s Digital Nautical Charts, the U.S. Census Bureau’s MAF/TIGER Accuracy Improvement Project and for selected National Park Service Baseline Vegetation Mapping projects. Within Florida he has served as a project manager and photo interpreter for many land use/land cover, benthic habitat, and vegetation mapping programs conducted for the Water Management Districts and the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Keith currently serves as a Director on the Florida board of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. He possesses a Bachelors degree in Geography from the University of South Florida. | |
